La Ruta was a fun mash-up of Spain and Portland—the type of food event that celebrates the best of our city and does its part to connect Portland businesses, Portland chefs and Portland to the rest of the world. What a wonderful addition to our city’s cultural events. I had a blast and can’t wait for year two...This is exactly the sort of thing that Portland needs more of—great events that connect what we do here to the rest of the world. So well done.
Una experiencia gastronómica increíble. He conocido por qué Portland es una ciudad envidiada por otras. El recibimiento y trato de la organización, chefs , asistentes.... etc, ha sido magnífico. Solo falta el vuelo directo a Madrid.
This was a fantastic Festival and Incredibly well-organized. I feel it brought a special community to Portland and really helped people embrace the Spanish culture and all of our love for it.
Exemplary communication! Wow! La Ruta did an excellent job of communication and coordination. We value and appreciate our relationship with everyone that we work with at The Gorham Group of restaurants and we were proud to be a part of the first annual La Ruta Festival.”
It was an awesome experience and really fun event. Can’t wait for next year!
It was a really great time! You all should be very proud of what you have accomplished!
Thanks for making La Ruta a smooth event for us! It seemed to go off really well, and folks were clearly enjoying themselves, us included.
La Ruta was awesome! You guys made something special.
I went to both the premiere and the Tastes of Spain event and they were both beautifully executed. I lived in Spain for a little while, and loved seeing familiar wines and flavors that we aren’t always exposed to in the Pacific Northwest. As an inaugural event your team knocked it out of the park! I cannot wait to see what Toro Bravo Inc has planned down the pipeline.
The events that we participated in were extremely well organized, run and realized! One would never believe that it was your first year pulling off such an amazing display of Spanish goodness. In my mind, no other client in the Pacific Northwest has done more to put Spain on the international map than the Toro Bravo/John Gorham Restaurant Group! We definitely consider Portland, Oregon to be a destination for incredible Spanish Food and Wine.
LaRuta PDX was a fun educational and delicious weekend! We tried foods we’d never tried before and wines we’d never have had a chance to try. The dinners were delicious and daring. The chefs who traveled to Portland were creative, talented, and a joy to meet.
Thank you La Ruta PDX for having worked so hard on the success of this amazing event, where many people had the opportunity to get to understand better the tastes from Spain. Awesome work!
La Ruta was a seriously impressive undertaking. It is hard to believe that was only the first of what will surely be a successful annual event for years to come. Viva La Ruta!!
There was so much thoughtfulness on how to support restaurants and vendors and I know that not only did we really appreciate it, but every other restaurant I spoke with noticed it too. Thank you!”
Thank you for the opportunity. It was a great event!
It was a marvelous party, great to catch up with friends and colleagues, and every bite, every sip was gorgeous and delicious. Heartfelt congratulations, and adelante!
